Situated on the east coast of Central Florida, Volusia County, is home to many cities including Daytona Beach, Ormond Beach and New Smyrna Beach. GMB Engineers & Planners, Inc. has a long-standing partnership with Volusia County, Florida and has been awarded multiple service contracts. In February of 2006, Volusia County, Florida awarded GMB with the “Professional Impact Fee Consulting Services” Contract.

Continuing Traffic Engineering and Transportation Planning Services

GMB Engineers & Planners, Inc. has completed numerous work orders over the last three years and has been selected earlier this year to perform the services for the next three years. Task assignments include turning movement count data, conducting stop delay studies, spot speed studies, no passing zone studies, vehicle gap size studies, intersection delay studies, qualitative assessments, crash analysis, signal warrant studies, multi stop warrant studies, parking viability studies, and performing traffic signal design.
