Continuing Transportation Planning Contract

This is a work order based Continuing Services Contract where GMB Engineers & Planners, Inc. (GMB) is the prime consultant providing services to Orange County. This contract was re-awarded to GMB for an additional three (3) years through 2010. The contract includes a scope that encompasses the following services:

• Review of Development of Regional Impact (DRI) Studies
  
• Traffic Impact Studies
  
• Review and Application of Orlando Urban Area Transportation Study Models
  
• Interregional Transportation Studies
  
• Neighborhood and Traffic Calming Studies
  
• Intersection Studies
  
• Concurrency Reviews
  
• Roadway and Area-Wide Needs Assessments
  
• Comprehensive Plan Amendments
  
• Development of Regional Impact (DRI) Studies
  
• Area-Wide Needs Assessment Studies
  
• Neighborhood and Traffic Calming Studies
  
• Transportation Forecasting utilizing Florida Standard Urban Transportation Model Structure (FSUTMS) for DRI Review and Assessments

GMB also created pre-Roadway Conceptual Analysis (RCA) Corridor Studies to evaluate feasibility of proposed capacity improvements and performed other tasks in conjunction with the RCA as requested by staff. In addition, GMB assisted Orange County staff in completing the Transportation Element for the 2020 Comprehensive Plan Update.
